BREAKING NEWS An Invitation to Thailand

A Journey that began in China

Josh, Emma, and Lucas Jundt are siblings from Kenosha, Wisconsin who were adopted from Inner Mongolia, China in 2011 (Lucas) and 2015 (Josh, and Emma). Their parents, Peter and Heidi Jundt were led by God and the urgings of their son Jacob to adopt them. Jacob died from a wilms’ tumor, a form of childhood kidney cancer, in 2004 at the age of 6. In the waining days of his life he heard commercials on Christian radio about adopting from China. From that day forward he continued to urge his parents to adopt.

A couple of years after Jacob died, his family began the long, often confusing, always complicated, process of adopting first one, then 2 more children from China.

A Chance Encounter Leads to New Opportunities

To the surprise of their parents, the trio entered and excelled in the world of adaptive athletics through a chance encounter in 2018 at a local COSTCO with Cindy Housner, executive director of GLASA (The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association https://www.glasa.org).
